Wills, Medical Directives, Financial POA’s are Affordable With a Reasonable Lawyer
11. April 2008 by Steve Topel.
Baby Boomers are taking care of their aging parents and are preparing for the time when their parents are gone. Or are they? This question needs to be answered for the millions of boomers who face the inevitable and need to know if all necessary preparation as been completed. This is a very sensitive and sometimes complex issue to discuss but absolutely necessary. If all the necessary documents are not in place before the need for difficult decisions occur, stress, confusion and costly errors are at stake. Cost should not delay this process especially when a reasonable lawyer can put you at ease. Medical directives are essential so loved ones are not guessing what choices their parents would make if they were able to. This resolves a burden no child no matter what age should have to undertake. A will or trust is absolutely essential so assets are protected and stay with the family and not given away to the government due to poor or no prior planning. This is all common sense but many people ignore this necessary planning because noone wants to think about our parents leaving us. A Power of Attorney for when a parent can no longer make decisions for their finances is another necessary document. This puts all decisions of a financial nature into the hands of who your parent trusts and feels comfortable handling their affairs, when they may become incapacitated. All of these forms should be part of planning for retirement and beyond. People are living longer and longer but this should never be a reason to put off this planning. Wills and trusts are needed as soon as one accumulates assets and has a family they always want to take care of. Other documents are needed as we move towards middle age and beyond, however the earlier the better. Accidents happen and difficult decisions may be necessary long before one reaches old age. Consult a reasonable lawyer who can give you advice affordable for everyone. Prepare these documents with a competent reasonable lawyer and rest at ease when you know you are prepared for your family or your parents future.

Going Postal Can Be Prevented With a Reasonable Lawyer.
5. April 2008 by Steve Topel.
Craft employees and Supervisors, even Unit Manager’s can find comfort in retaining a Reasonable Lawyer. The Postal Service creates such an intolerable atmoshere in many locations that simply showing up at work creates anxiety and poor morale. The union is normally unable to provide the cure. The association’s for first level Management has little power. What can an employee do? Go Postal? Of course not. The employee can hire a reasonable lawyer. All Postal employees need this extra layer of protection to protect their right’s on the job. Have a letter sent to your Manager on your attorney’s letter-head explaining how the intolerable working conditions at your office is creating an environment that is unhealthy for all employees. You will get their attention immediately. The Postal Service wants no part of any lawsuit especially if word could leak out to the media and cause negative press. This could be devastating to the Postal Service who need only hear the word privatization to make upper Manager’s cringe. Your union’s do a good job but they can only affect certain areas of Postal life. The climate and atmoshere in the craft for the 22 years I worked never got better. God forbid another incident occurs. All postal employees that continue to deal with poor supervisors and managers, being overworked and not being treated with proper dignity and respect, you have a solution. Make a change for the better. Get legal advice on employment issues and find out how you can legally change the conditions of your work location. Get reasonable lawyers assistance, which is affordable for everyone and make the Post Office a better and safer employer for all employees.

$25.00 per month saves you $600-$900 monthly With Reasonable Lawyers
30. March 2008 by Steve Topel.
Their is no doubt in my mind that my legal service plan saves me hundreds of dollars each and every month. I pay only $25.00 per month which gives me multiple attorney access for questions, advice and much more. Life is complicated. Legal advice simplifies life’s problems and protects our rights. When the legal advice is less then a cup of coffee, it becomes affordable for everyone and not exclusively for the wealthy.
I have used my provider law firm recently to discuss custody modification, legal issues with tenants in my rental properties, poor service when my home was damaged from movers and advising me on my rights regarding poor response from the City in getting my water turned on at a property I have rehabed. I did not pay one penny over my $25.00 monthly fee.
With today’s foreclosure crisis, immigration issues, credit problems and divorce people need a legal service plan more then ever. It has become essential in sorting through all the laws that govern every part of our lives. Our society is the most litigious country in the world. Law suits totally outnumber hospital admissions but do these people have legal insurance. Not many. In fact if most people were sued and lost the case, they could lose thousands.
It’s not necessary to be vulnerable any longer. Whether you are being sued, needing to sue another or just needing a question answered by a trained lawyer, everyone needs this legal service.

Immigration: Businesses Don’t Let Guard Down
27. March 2008 by Steve Topel.
Their must be thousands of businesses using millions of immigrants in the US and Canada. These immigrants provide a labor force that are hungary for a weekly check to provide for their family’s and loved ones they left behind. What is frightening is most businesses are not protected or even know the legality of hiring these employees. Many businesses commit to immigrants who can be legally or illegally living and working in this country. The businesses can be vulnerable to laws that control hiring and firing of these employees. The laws do not discriminate. The handling of immigrants in the work force must be handled in compliance with all laws. If not, businesses can be penalized for not following the law of each State or Province. Know the laws and your business can thrive. Neglect the laws and your business may not survive.
All businesses can get affordable legal counsel with a small business services membership plan. These plans are tailored to the size and needs of each particular business. Visit my links and click on PrePaid Legal for more information on getting reasonable lawyers.

Foreclosures: Are You Reading the Small Print
26. March 2008 by Steve Topel.
It’s not unusual to sign your name on an important document without totally reading and understanding the content. Millions do it all the time. Unfortunately, millions are now seeing with the foreclosure crisis that they were either mislead or truly didn’t understand what they were signing. This happens all the time because most middle class citizens can’t even think of hiring an attorney due to the cost. This leaves millions in a very vulnerable position. While their are many honest business people in the world, the foreclosure crisis has shown that mortgage lenders are sales people and the more sales they get the more commissions they ring up. Ultimately the consumer will get blamed for purchasing a house they really couldn’t afford. However, when your mortgage lender is telling you, you can afford this priced house, the consumer is comforted. The consumer normally does not get a second opinion and relies on the mortgage sales person to be their de-facto lawyer. This is foolhardy. The consumer must get legal advice on such an important decision. The documents need to be reviewed by a trained lawyer who specializes in this field. No consumer should do this alone and without representation. The foreclosure crisis would not be at this extreme level if all of these foreclosed consumers had consulted an attorney.
Getting this legal advice is now affordable and all citizens should sign up for this service so all of life’s decisions are made with qualified and objective legal assistance. See my link on PrePaid Legal for more info and get Reasonable Lawyers.
